Book Playlists
I
usually write with either music or re-watching favorite television shows on for
background noise. That works best when it's a series I've watched several
times. It's soothing. It lets me get in a groove. Something familiar that I can
also tune out.
I
use music a little differently. Music helps set the mood of the story.
Sometimes it tells me about my characters, puts me in their heads. Sometimes
it's about the place. The culture.

Hunt is a beach bunny at heart, but in a pinch she’ll settle for a pool. An
Atlanta native, the Army relocated her to southern Alabama more years ago than
she cares to remember. Since it only snows once every two decades or so, she
decided to stay. She lives with her husband of twenty years, their three kids,
and way too many English Springer Spaniels. She writes science fiction and
paranormal romance often with a Southern accent.
